Paddy Gower is back on screen tonight with a new season of Paddy Gower Has Issues, kicking off with an interview linked to one of New Zealand’s most high-profile missing persons cases.
The season premiere features Rozzie Phillips, the sister of Marokopa man Tom Phillips, who has been missing with his three children since 2021. Despite multiple police appeals and extensive searches, their whereabouts remain unknown.
Rozzie told the programme she hopes her brother will see her message and come forward.
“In the hopes that just maybe, he’s going to see this. And maybe, he’s going to see that he can come home; and that we are here for him and that it might just be ok,” she said.
“There’s a lot of love and a lot of support and we’re ready to help you walk through what you need to walk through.”
Alongside the interview, Karen O’Leary looks into the rising cost of butter and why prices have climbed so sharply in the past year.
The eight-part season will see Gower joined by a range of journalists investigating issues affecting New Zealanders.
Paddy Gower Has Issues airs on Three at 7.30pm tonight and will also be available on ThreeNow. The series is supported by New Zealand On Air.
